CIQ has announced the general availability of Warewulf Pro for building and managing compute clusters at scale.
Warewulf Pro offers new features and customer support to “simplify and speed up the process of deploying and maintaining your HPC clusters,” including:
- Modern web-based interface built on Cockpit
- Curated, prebuilt node images
- Production-ready packages
- Full enterprise support for deployments, upgrades, and design
The new interface is designed to help cluster administrators quickly understand the underlying organization of a Warewulf cluster by showing:
- List of nodes to provision
- Configuration profiles that may be applied to those nodes
- Operating system images to provision to those nodes
- Configuration overlays that customize the provisioned images for each node
- In-line documentation for each entity and field
