Infoblox and Google Cloud have partnered to release two new products aimed at simplifying enterprise networking and security.
Together, the companies are offering the following solutions to help organizations address various challenges in cloud networking and security:
- Infoblox Universal DDI for Google’s Cloud WAN is a fully integrated solution that provides infrastructure-free DNS and DHCP services, tightly integrated with the Google Cloud Cross-Cloud Network.
- Google Cloud DNS Armor leverages Infoblox’s protective DNS expertise to secure cloud workloads and provide robust and preemptive detection of malicious activity for Google Cloud workloads.
“Every attack starts with a DNS query,” Infoblox states, and “by monitoring these DNS queries, organizations can detect early signs of compromise. If an application unknowingly reaches out to a bad actor-controlled site, it’s a clear signal something is amiss.”
